Got Fired 1 month before my Marriage
Lockdown was hard on my career, in Jan 2021, I was getting paid around 8K salary ( original was 32K).
Only reason I was not able to change was, My company back then asked me to pay 50K or serve notice period of 90 Days. And all companies were asking to join within 15 days ( with valid exit procedures)
I took the risk, got an offer for 30K, but left on bad terms with the previous Company, was a DIP in salary but 2nd Lockdown happened, during such times, 30K a month is always better than a salary 8K, and shelling out 50K buy out price of 43 days of remaining notice period (90 original, I served 47 days)
Now pushing things forward to December 2021, I courted my wife for marriage.
And after a month we were set to get married on 27th May 2022. It was almost 6 months away.
We started with our preparations.
But in April, the Future Group (FBB & Future Retails) shut all their Operations as they faced bankruptcy & Reliance Take over Happened, Due to this, Our Agency, Which was handling their digital wing, was fired thus me getting fired.
I still Remember it was 27 April, I talked to my fiancée on the phone that, my last working day was on 24th May.
And I don’t have any plans for now, I am completely blank.
There were a few seconds of Silence till I got a reply.

And with those words had an instant smile and felt 100 times burden less
And As I am writing this, its almost 8 months We are married
